Creative Container Gardening with Noelle Johnson

March 17 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Let’s talk about container gardening. Whether your garden is large or limited to a balcony, it’s time to rethink what you can grow in a pot. In addition to colorful flowers – succulents, herbs, and even vegetables can be grown in containers. Butterfly and hummingbird gardens can also be created in a single pot. We will share what plants will do well in containers along how to care for them. Come and join us!

Bio: Noelle Johnson is a horticulturist, landscape consultant, and certified arborist. Many know her as ‘AZ Plant Lady’ the writer of the popular garden blog ‘Ramblings From a Desert Garden’. She is passionate about helping people create beautiful, drought tolerant landscapes using plants that thrive in arid climates. Noelle enjoys talking about desert gardening whether speaking to garden groups, television/radio interviews, or writing for Home Depot, Houzz, and Phoenix Home & Garden magazine. When she isn’t busy writing or helping others with their gardens, you’ll find her outside planting vegetables, picking fruit from her apple and peach trees, or testing the newest drought-tolerant plants in her garden.
