Dia de los Muertos Flowers & More

October 30, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Bring your lunch and join us for this free presentation.

Dia de los Muertos, Day of the Dead, is about remembering our dearly departed in many ways, with sugar skulls, dressing up, and lots and lots of flowers! Dr. Soule spent five years studying the marigolds – the “flor de muertos” (“flower of the dead”). Discussion of the plant will include past and current uses as well as how to grow these lovely flowers in our area.

After the presentation Jacqueline will sell and sign her recent gardening books.
